A charity image for a very special cause...

As some of you may know, Emma has been raising funds over the last year for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity. I've created this little quirky character, Ronnie cat for Emma, and 'all' proceeds from the sale will go towards the charity - every single penny.

THIS IS WHERE I'VE BEEN....

....although it was the first week of the Easter holidays...and as always, we had the most wonderful time, in my most treasured place.....We've been visiting St Ives for over 12 years now, at 'least' twice a year....and yes, I do have a goal, so just wait for news on that one...well, a girl can dream...

Laptop was taken - well, the view was worth it....and I knew just where to go as there was no signal where we stayed this time....mind you, I put the laptop away and enjoyed the break afterwards...

Caitlin went on a seal watching trip with Daddy...(I went shopping...)...she did enjoy it in the end...

...and this is 'why' we go....Caitlin was in the sea, as it was so warm....when the wind dropped a little...

...*sigh*.....until the next time...

NEARLY A CARD....JUST A SNEAK THO...

...here we are again, over a month since my last post, but we still have snow showers...Brrr. However, summer will be here before we know it and its been nice in March the last few years, and that's only weeks away...Not forgetting there are worse things going on in the world at the moment so we really shouldn't moan.

School hols are looming next week so not much time for crafty-ness then.....but I couldn't wait to show you a sneak peek of a challenge card that I can show in full on Saturday....but not before.

It's using one of my new little cuties called Isabella....isn't she a sweetie....

NEW YEAR, A BIT OF DISNEY AND A NEW BERNARD...

...happy new year to you all....hope you had a lovely christmas....

It's been very cold here in the UK and still is...hopefully things will warm up a bit soon.

I have so many plans for this year....last year went by in a whiz, so I hope things slow down a bit, or perhaps I need to use my time better....Mmmmmm.

So...on to Disney Paris (a real bargain as bookings must have been down). We tend to do things on a whim...when we can...and when we feel like it. A couple of weeks before Christmas, we thought how lovely it would be for Caitlin to be in her favourite place at such a magical time of year.....so we went.....on the day that Eurostar got stuck in the tunnel.....Oh yes....we wondered if would ever get there....the motorways were shut, cars and lorries were parked up everywhere as we neared Kent, but we were going via the Tunnel and had luckily booked a slot. So, the next morning after our wonderful Premier Inn breakfast, and only 2 hours later than planned, we were on our way...

Brrr....it was cold in France....so much snow, but at the same time, it felt so Christmasy and beautiful....luckily I'd invested in thermals and snow boots....and luckily, my tendency to be prepared and sometimes annoying with it, paid off.

This photo was when we first arrived....the main paths had been cleared, but more snow and ice formed whilst we were there.....oh yes....and it was minus something most of the time.

As it was the Christmas holiday, the parks were open til 10pm....Luckily Caitlin can go with the flow, and as everyone was leaving due to the cold evening, we went in and had the most magical time. I don't think we queued for one ride, which is so unheard of...

Even queuing for autographs this time seemed less hassle and almost enjoyable....

...and this is the view of the castle at night....snow in the air and all of minus 5 or less.....
Brrrrrr....it was a very cold holiday, but one of the best and we had the most fabulous time....we got back in the very early hours of Christmas Eve....and yes, we are quite mad.

So on to this year....we still have the snow, so things on the doodling front have slowed a little as the school has been closed most of this week....

But, I did manage to finish a new little valentine range using some of the popular characters on the website.....here's one....

...and I've made this card for the Allsorts Challenge Blog which we are sponsoring this week...the DT have made some fab creations....so pop over and join us....

...here's the card I've made for my competition winner - who is getting these 'Harold' images as part of the prize. The sketch this week on A Spoonful of Sugar was just right for the image, although I did shrink Harold a little to fit in my nesties.

I used:

Paper - Basic Grey - Archaic (must get me mitts on some more of these)
Coloured using Copic and PM's
Image - Harold
Ribbons and flowers from stash - to make it more girly...and I distressed the circle for a bit of added texture.

IZZY FOR TWO CHALLENGES...

...nice to see some rain in the UK, but don't you just hate getting wet...those blinkin school runs...lol....actually, I haven't got that far to go, so we do walk...takes all of 5 mins, but just enough to feel the rain creeping up from the bottom of my jeans....grrr...but I'm grateful we can walk...

Anyway, on to my card......here's my entry for Papertake Weekly - a super sketch from Dawny, which I did turn on it's side....and A Spoonful of Sugar, where the theme is Halloween.

I've used Izzy, but as this card is for Caitlin, I wanted it to be be a bright, cheery creation....and she really is too cute to spook!... (by the way, I stole the sentiment from my DT Liz...as she made a super card using it recently).

I was VERY careful using my black copic marker, and didn't go right to the edge of Izzy's coat and hat, as marker pens tend to bleed a little...The rest of the image is coloured with PM's and then a soft lilac blue copic to outline the image. I cut the little bat out of an image on my Halloween sheet....and added just a tinsy bit of sparkle to Izzy's hat and gloves.

I love green and pink together...but these papers are actually a christmas set from Papermania last year...So.....who said witches can't be cute?

So, here's my entry for Papertake Weekly using Dawny's fab sketch....I used my much needed to be used new Explore stamp from Toodles and Binks....a dream to colour as always...and comes with two sentiments.

The papers are My Minds Eye - Bloom and Grow and I used a mix of PM's and Copics of which I have failed to note down...hmmm....well, at least I've made a card at last huh...

Hope you're all having nice sunny Thursdays.....I'm off for some lunch in the sun....only a ham sandwich, but TGI's later....Mmmmm...

IT'S BEEN A WHILE...

...my first school summer hols were different to say the least. I had great plans to work in the evenings and play in the day, but alas, it didn't go that way...we did have great fun though and Caitlin did her usual hop and skip to school this morning and was very excited to be going into Year 1...and yes I do miss her already...but I'm pleased to have some 'me' time back now too...

We did loads, but our best thing was this little trip here to Menorca....not planned....not expected, but too good a price not to go.....and we had a fabulous time.

I wouldn't normally consider going in school hols....too expensive generally, but this trip was a pure bargain and as all inclusive, I did well and truly rest, eat and drink...and came back very relaxed.

So now its back to the grindstone and lots of new doodles will be popping up over the next few weeks.....my offer of the month will be available hopefully tomorrow...eeek - how late am I.....

A huge thanks to my DT for all their fabulous creations on the shop blog.....

First of all, just to announce that I am no longer on the Willow Sketchie DT....I had a fab time working with Sharon's gorgeous products, and it was great to work with such a wonderful and talented DT team - I shall miss it.....but what that means for you, is there is an opportunity for a new DT member....you can find the info here ....and a huge thank you to Sharon and the team for a fab few months.

....and just to announce that the "Copics" have arrived at the Stamp Galaxy - and at great prices too...

...so excited when our post finally arrived today...(the other day we got it at 4.30!)...and amongst the 'file on table for another day stuff', I saw my fab pink package from Toodles and Binks....who incidentally will be stocking Copics very, very soon at their Stamp Galaxy shop...

So, meet Puddleduck Pothington...one of my latest releases from the McDoodles Farm range....(can't take any credit for the fab names by the way)...He was perfect for this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge where the theme is 'animal antics'....

I coloured the image with PM's and a titchy bit of orange Copic....the gorgeous papers are from My Minds Eye and the greeting comes with the stamp...

CHARISMA CARDZ CHALLENGE...

...as a sponsor for the Charisma Cardz Challenge, I was pleased to be asked to be a Guest DT again this week....the fab theme this time is "A Star is Born"...so use one or more stars on your project...

I used my little Spaceman Josh and coloured him with PM's..(cool grey 1 and 3, ice grey 1, blush and rose pink for his little cheeks) and a bit of white gel pen for accents. The fab stars were from the pound shop, and the paper is my all time fave for space themed cards and is from Tinkering Ink....must get some more if I can....Mmmm...just popped on their site and got side-tracked with all the colour and lushious-ness.....

A LOVELY WEEKEND...

...after my busy week last week doing the finishing tweaks on my website, it was good timing that we had a lovely break booked for the weekend, in Devon. Friends of my Mum have a lovely wooden chalet which we were able to book at very reasonable price...and we had a fab time as the weather was wonderful....and as you know, we love the sea...

We stayed in the South Hams near Bigbury on Sea...here's a couple of shots from the top of Burgh Island...

...and here's a few pics from Dartmouth....gorgeous huh!

...after what seems like an age, it could be a busy day of posting for me....lots to share and a few cards to post too...

To begin with, here's our Willow Sketchie challenge set by the lovely Heidi this week...the challenge being....to follow the sketchie and make anything other than a card!.....and here's another twist:

...instead of using a download or stamps for your image..I want you to use a picture, it can be of a family member, pet, food, baby..flower..or if your not sure of that try cutting an image from a magazine.

PTW AND COLOUR, CREATE...

...just a quickie using the fab sketch from Dawny on Papertake Weekly, and the green, brown and orange challenge on Colour Create....I know they didn't say use 'bright green', but I am a bit partial to bright and whacky colours...

I used my new Jim stamp from DewDrop Craftz and will deffo keep this card for hubby for Father's Day...coloured with PM's/Copics....the orange paper is My Mind's Eye and I cut out and mounted the beer mug using 3-D foam...

Right....best crack on.....Caitlin had one of the those 'poorly days' yesterday where they are flat out for the day and then suddenly bounce back in the evening....good old Calpol huh!

...finally, I can now reveal the 'creative secret' I've been holding back from some time....and tis very exciting...

Some of you will know that I'm a huge Toodles and Binks fan, so I was over the moon when I was asked by the lovely Kay to be a guest DT and design a range of stamps for them...the first one has been released today and you can also see a pic/some info about me which could be a first for most of you! Tis rather a large pic of me and I'm sure I made it much smaller.....hee.

Here's my entry for the SCSC where the theme this week is 'stripes'....I've used my new Toodles & Binks - Amelie Bunnykins stamp - told you I loved her - just so sweet.

I coloured the image with PM's, the flowers are Hero Arts and the stripey paper is DCWV.

SOME RATHER EXCITING NEWS...

...hi all....hope you've had lovely weekends...(the news is at the end of the post, but the first bit is too cute to skip over)

The weather was so warm and sunny in the UK and we managed to get out for a walk in the local hills yesterday and saw lots of little lambs, and some who were more than ready to be born! I've seen babies move in ladies tummy's, but not baby lambs wriggling away....it really was a peculiar sight indeed...but amazing too.

Anyway, here's a little pic of two little cuties that we managed to get close enough to. Cute huh.

The first bit of news is about the brand new digi stamp challenge blog that has recently been set up by the very talented and lovely Chris and Sandra. Its a fab opportunity for those of us who adore digi images, so why not pop over and join in. As it's the first challenge, there's an amazing prize up for grabs too....and you can use any digi image/paper in your work.

DT NEWS
....and the megga amazing news for me, is that my website will be up and running very, very soon! Wo-hoo! I'll give more details just before launch, but I'm really looking forward to having more control over things and making it easier to see what digi images are available.

So, that leads me very nicely to my DT call! Although I wont be running a challenge myself (as the above suits very well, as do most), I still would like to involve FIVE very talented crafters who will be creating projects/cards with both new and existing designs to ensure things are ready for my website launch, and for new collections in the future.

Initially it will be for a 3-month period....and I may also include other guest designers now and then too. All I ask is that you are a keen digi stamp crafter and have a blog.

If you are interested in becoming part of my new Design Team (open world-wide), then please email me with a link to your blog......and yes, I'm sooo looking forward to it all...and tis very exciting indeed! (my email is in my sidebar). The closing date for this is 17th April.

COLOUR CREATE...

...here's my card for this weeks Colour Create challenge....where the theme is lilac and blue....and an optional extra of ribbons and swirls....there's some fab DT cards for inspiration.

The swirly blue paper is Papermania and I coloured the flowers/vases with Promarkers. The fab flower is from Poppicrafts (I have all colours now as I love the design, shape and feel of them)... I used some light blue Zoomz just cos I love them at the mo....and also have most colours...

The sun has just come out to play, so I'm popping into town for some retail therapy as nanny is doing the school run today.....ooooh, I feel a COSTA coming on with a nice gossip mag....well, it doesn't hurt now and then...xx

WILLOW SKETCHIE TIME...

...Thursday means it's Willow Sketchie time again...This week it's Sharon's turn for the sketch and we've all used a brand new download...So here's my little creation with the fabulous Walter owl.....and isn't he just the cutest....and my favourite design so far I reckon...I turned the sketch on its side for my card.

The added twist this week is 'glossy accents'.....so I made his eyes all glossy and also used clear Zoomz on my flowers for extra glossyness. I coloured Walter with PM's...and the DP forms part of the download too....Check out the DT's fabulous creations here.....and you can purchase Walter from here...and we'd love to see you join in with the challenge too..

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY...AND AN AWARD

...we had a bit of a gloomy day here today....the sun broke for about an hour and that was it.....hey ho...tomorrow is supposed to be better and at least it was dry...

Not much cardage from me this week I'm afraid.....and I've realised with school hols over the next few weeks etc, I may not get much done at all until the end of April! However....I shall think positive, plan my time well and find the time to escape to my world of colour chaos....(well, that's how my craft room ends up after one card...I'm sure I'm not alone in that)...

Here's my entry for this weeks PTW challenge...where there is a recipe of 3 images, 2 ribbons and 1 circle.

I used my new Missy B stamps from DewDrop Craftz....aren't they cute...! Coloured simply using my range of grey Promarkers and a bit of Rose Pink for the cheeks. The paper is My Minds Eye (fab huh!....if you like green that is.....which I do...) and the sentiment from Craftwork Cards....(if you're wondering....my circle element is the button!)

...I received this cool award from the lovely Zoe yesterday - thanks so much! Now....I need to catch up on some blog hopping so off to see who I can pass this on to...

...and here's a card I made with it....I stamped the image a few times and then layered all the cakes with 3-d foam....coloured with PM's, Copics and a tinsy bit of sparkle.

COLOUR CREATE AND STAMP SOMETHING...

...hope you all had lovely weekends....I managed to get a good mix of creating and time with the family....and as the sun was shining too, pretty much a perfect weekend...

However, it was very sad to hear about Jade Goody yesterday ....RIP Jade and my thoughts are with your family and little boys...xx

On to my challenge card....and I've entered two new ones this week....been meaning too since they started...eeek!

Colour Create - I must admit I love the colours for the theme this week and everything I used I had. The added twist was not to use any design papers...

With that in mind, I created a subtle pattern on my green card using Versamark Clear and a sweet little Hero Arts butterfly...the green paper behind Lilly has been softly distressed with a navy ink...

I used my new Lilly stamp (see my post yesterday) and paper pieced her dress and bow....I also layered the flowers that I coloured with PMs first. I added little gems to the centre of the flowers and coloured Lilly with PMs too.

...the yummy green flowers are from Poppicrafts - save some for me as I adore the shape and style so will be going back for every colour there is....The cream textured flowers are Hero Arts.

Stamp Something - the theme this week is 'Spring' and I think these colours are very Springy....there's also a fab Whiff of Joy/Elizabeth Bell stamp up for grabs too...

SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE...

...this week on SCSC the theme is to make a card with your favourite colour scheme....and one stands out a mile for me as most of my cards on here are this - pink and green.....although in the winter I love pink and blue or brown...

So here's my little creation....I used a couple of my download images for this one...My new Lottie image and also one of the flower backgrounds which I resized a little.

I coloured Lottie and the background with PM's and then added a pink H20 on the flowers and butterfly.

The green flower paper is my fave of all time and I've only got a smidgen left now....think its Doodlebug and have had for yonks....I'll be on the search for it now.

...was a beautiful sunny day in the end, but wasn't this morning a bit Brrrr...I even popped the heating back on after my yucky trip to the dentist...

So, for Papertake Weekly, here's a bright and cheery card for a bright and cheery day...the theme this week is 'something edible', and I'm able to confirm that Easter Eggs are very edible, as I have so far eaten quite a variety of things....that were supposed to be kept for other people....but I know they can be replaced, so I give in very easily....hey ho.

...and this is my first Chirpy card....

I coloured the image with PM's and a bit of sparkle on the dots....The stripey paper is Kay and Co and the ribbon is Making Memories (from memory - lol)...and the yummy Zoomz are from The Stamp Galaxy.

The added twist this week is emboss - either dry embossing or stamp embossing....up to you...I ran my purple flowers through an embossing folder, and also the lilac strip of card...The super cute image is Petuna which is available as a download from Willow Designs, and comes with the backing paper too. I chose to turn the sketch round for mine and made a gatefold for a change.

I coloured Petuna with PM's and also coloured in the bows on the backing paper to match the rest of my card.

Sorry its a quickie post - off to the blinkin dentist for one of those horrible filling things - grrrr.

A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR...AND SOME FAB NEWS

...there's a fab sketch on A Spoonful of Sugar challenge this week...although I did omit the stitching as I though my papers were busy enough as they were - I distressed the edges instead...

Now for the fab news.....A while ago I mentioned that some of my download images were being made in to clear stamps - and wait for it....I made this card using one of them!!..so a HUGE thank you to Nikki at DewDrop Craftz who will be selling some of my designs at DewDrop Craftz shortly. The website is currently being re-launched, so as soon as the stamps are available, I'll let you know. Some of the stamps from other designers are already available, so pop over and have a nosey. They are made from clear and very strong polymer and the impression is fabulous quality.

I stamped Eric out twice, cut one out and layered with 3-D foam. He's coloured with Promarkers.

...Mmmm....not sure if I pulled this one off with the colours, but I sort of like it...the theme this week on Papertake Weekly is Pink, Orange and Brown....My backing paper is all these colours so I tried to make everything else work with it....Mmmm...just about me thinks..it could be cos its quite an autumnal theme rather than my normal bright creations...lol. The theme on A Spoonful of Sugar is torn edges.

I used one of my new Lizzie images and coloured her with promarkers/copics....The papers are My Minds Eye.

...it's Willow Sketchie time again and this week there is a fab sketch from Katy.....we all used the super cute A Walk in the Park download from Willow Designs, with the added twist of using spots and stripes...I think my papers say it all!...I did spin mine round if you're trying to work out what's what... not something I plan to do....it just sort of happens...

This download also has a sheet of pre-coloured images, but I chose to use my PM's...with a bit of sparkle here and there....I added 3-D foam for some added dimension...

You must pop over and see all the other DT fabbiness and join in too if you can - don't forget, you must use a Willow Design product somewhere on your card/project.

PTW, CCT AND A CRAFTBUBBLE...

...hurray - it's Friday...not that we've planned a lot, but its lovely feeling to think there is no school run in the morning and hubby dashes around for a change taking Caitlin swimming....fab for everyone to be home, but even fabber when they pop out for a bit too! lol

Here's my little creation for:

Papertake Weekly - using Dawny's fab sketch (which I did turn around for mine)
Cute Card Thursday - which has a theme of 'Animal Magic'

I've used one of my new monkey images for this one and made it for a friend who is having a hard time...thought it may bring a smile...I coloured Charlie with Promarkers.

The next card is for the Willow Sketchie on Craftbubble - a simple theme but really pretty me thinks.

I used one of the images from the new cutey download from Willow Designs - A walk in the park, and coloured her with the old PM's again...

SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE...

...wow - isn't the weather glorious today!....supposed to be like this most of the week too....fabulous! Just makes me go all colourful...just can't help it.....so here's my bright and cheery creation for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge where there is a great sketch from the lovely Jill...

I used Promarkers/Copics to colour one of the Rosie images from my new baby doodles and the fabulous paper is from Sassafraslass - had it a while as I just love the punchy colours...the beautiful Prima flowers are part of my prize from my recent Craftbubble win...and will only be used now and then as I cant bear to lose them just yet! lol

WILLOW SKETCHIE...

...Hope you're all having fab weeks...

Its Willow Sketchie time again and this time we have a great sketch by Heidi....with the added twist it must have buttons and stitching somewhere.

The DT used different stamps this week which should offer loads of inspiration...My stamp was Picking Flowers which is a real cutey and can be used for lots of different occasions.

My stitching is round the edge of the backing paper and I also stitched on my clear flower buttons and the backing paper is a bit stitchy looking...I did have another creation which was a bit more creative but just didn't work with everything else....I stitched flower stems behind Willow and added some flower buttons - then spoilt it by adding blue sky...doh - but an idea to share for stitching perhaps?? Normally I would make it work but ran out of time this week - boo hoo...anyway, I'm still pleased with the outcome of the card I entered.

This challenge runs for two weeks so hopefully you can join in too.... and there are some fabulous creations from the DT so pop over for a nosey.

A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR...and a freebie!

...the challenge on A Spoonful of Sugar this week is to add an element of doodling - well, how could I resist!

I've used one of the images from my cutey owl download and doodled the backing paper for this challenge. As this is only a quicky doodled backing paper, I've also added it here as a freebie - you can choose from lilac or pink.

Interestingly, I wanted to keep the design really simple as I quite like simple (and quick...lol)...however, I used some new card for my image and it took me an age to colour to an accepted finish! lol.....I couldn't believe how different card makes such a difference with Promakers....I'm not so keen on this card .... with my other card the ink just flowed and stayed wet longer....Mmmm - I've heard SU Whisper White is good but any other ideas would be appreciated....

...was nice to see the sun today - this morning was freezing though but by the afternoon, the feeling of spring, with lush blue sky...

These little owls are a slightly tweaked version of a previous stamp design. I've added both male and female images and I think they'll suit so many occasions...

LILI OF THE VALLEY...AND SOME FAB NEWS...

...told you I'd be back....I was just waiting for the ok to show you this image...and I got it super quick!

This card was made using my ....brand new Josh clear stamp.... - and means that a range of my current download images will be available as clear stamps shortly...so watch this space!!......this is in addition to downloads by the way so that you have a choice.

Please let me know, either by email or by adding a comment here, which of my designs you would like to see available as clear stamps. It's likely that the images will be phased so that we can add new releases along the way too.

...back to the card....I made this for the Lili of the Valley challenge where the theme this week is to make a card for a man - so I did, but for a for a 'little man'..lol.

The fab papers are from another download from Kaboodle Doodles and I coloured Josh with my trusty Promarkers...

SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE...

...here's my card for the Secret Crafter Saturday challenge...the theme this week is "recycling"...

I used the wonderful Denny in Love image from Pink Gem Designs and coloured him with Promarkers.The fab green papers are from a download from Kaboodle Doodles.

My recycling elements are - the brown paper is part of an envelope that I received today and chopped about..lol....the single plyer punch is something recycled to me as I was after one and my lovely friend said she had one I could have - and the twine in my button is from a price tag...

I should be back in a bit with another challenge card....xx

CUTE CARD THURSDAY AND CRAFTBUBBLE...

....horrah - the school is open....so I've gained a day....even though we had loads of snow in the night, I think we had some rain too, so it's a bit slushy under foot...

....and as it's a lovely sunny blue sky day, I thought I'd go all spring like again with this card for CCT and the Willow Sketchie on Craftbubble.

Cute Card Thursday - the theme is Metallica - I used some sweet little metal brads and also a metal finding which I attached to my flowers with string.

Willow Sketchie on Craftbubble - there is a sketch to follow but also the key requirement of this challenge is to make your colouring 'pop'....no colour pops to me like the wonder of Prisma pencils....so this is what I used and blended them with Sansador which really brings the colours to life. I kept my backing papers nice and subtle so that the colours of the image really pop at you...lol....although, this is closely followed by my flowers and ribbon that also pop quite well too...oooops.

...hubby just looked outside and we have had more snow in the last hour than we did last week I'm sure.....so glad I made my treat bag as I'm sure it will be put to use tomorrow now....the weathermen/ladies got it right!

WILLOW SKETCHIE 29 JAN...

...there's just a few days left if you want to join in with this fab Willow Sketchie - finishes 12th Feb....

There is a sketch to follow and you must include an element of hand doodling and cutting using patterned paper. I wanted to make something I would use.....so on the basis there is a chance the school could be closed again tomorrow if we have that predicted awful weather this evening, here's a little treat bag that I made for Caitlin...the idea being to fill it with some treats to show I really don't mind her being home (again)- lol.

I did twist the sketch upside down as the scallop element is the flap on the bag which I shaped using my MS punch....I used papers downloaded from Willow Designs and printed the floral one on to card so that I could fold and make my bag. I doodled and cut out stars from spotty pink and white paper and added these to the bag with foam pads. The fairy stamp is also from Willow Designs...coloured with Promarkers and a bit of sparkle on her wings.

Before I printed the spotty paper, I added some text. I got the idea for the treat bag from Sharon - thank you and I promised I'd make one!

So a bit different, definitely a bit of a learning curve as it's my first treat bag, and just a bit of simple doodling this time from me - but still looks effective.

I'll be back later with a new award and some others to hand out.

What awful news from Australia at the moment - my thoughts go out to everyone at this very sad time...xx

ROLL ON SPRING...

...our snow is melting, although the sleet is rapidly turning more snow-like now...oooooerr - don't want any more of that thank you! So, to celebrate my yearning for springy, summery type days, I doodled some flowers yesterday....there are a few others on the way too...as I did bump this up the queue a little. I spaced the images out to help if you like to cut them out with nesties.

...and here's a couple of quick cards made with the pre-coloured images so you can see what I was thinking..!

In this one, I used one of the background images and then cut out a Lilly image which I mounted on foam in front of it....these backgrounds look equally pretty on their own and there are lots of uses for them. This photo is just a snippet of the card as I zoomed in on the background bit. Lilly was 'quickly' coloured with Promarkers.

..in this one, I used a pre-coloured flower image and just cropped it slightly into a square to mount on to my card - a quick and easy card but can look really effective. I wouldn't normally use pre-coloured ones but I wanted to share these today.

There's another card in the post below too...the download itself will be available in the next 5 mins.

I haven't been able to blog hop today but hoping to do that during Dancing on Ice later - I think this is soooo fab...

Hubby walked in to my craft room earlier and said "Could you just print this file....Ahhh...maybe later" - it is absolute chaos in there and I've only made three cards...hey ho...I expect we all get these comments...lol
